| 2000 – the vision of putting up an airline business was brought to reality with the purchase of a small twin engine aircraft initially serving cargo
2001 – the company operations were expanded with the acquisition of an executive configured aircraft , the CESSNA-421B to provide VIP charter services for both local and regional destinations. In the same year, its technical capability was boosted with technical agreements from Japan. During the year, the company was formally registered with the SEC.
2002 – the company’s Air Operating Certificate was issued. In this same year, the company was catapulted into airline operations as the airline went into a partnership agreement with Layang Layang Aerospace of Malaysia and was designated Philippine flag carrier for the BIMP EAGA –Brunei Indonesia Malaysia Philippines East Asean Growth Area. During the year, increased charter business was noted recognizing the company’s viability of operations. The fleet consisted of Cessna 421B Executive, Cessna 402 B, Cessna 207, Beechcraft Baron, and a Beechcraft Queen Air A65 and B80 equipment and outsourced aircrafts
2003 – Inaugural flights serving Kota Kinabalu and Puerto Princesa , Palawan was started using a Malaysian AN (Antonov) 28 turboprop aircraft. By the latter part of the year, the 4 nations under the BIMP EAGA ratified the regional air alliance system, the company acquired its first commercial commuter turboprop equipment, the YS 11-500A series replacing the AN 28 on the route. In the same year, seasoned airline managers joined the company to boost the core strength and capability of the airline.
2004 – Several flights were operated by the airline in the sector – Puerto Princesa/Kota Kinabalu culminating into the formal launching of the air linkage program in Puerto Princesa and installed by the chairman of the BIMP EAGA AIR ALLIANCE. In the later part of the year, the company moved to Zamboanga establishing its hub of operations in that city. The service to Kota Kinabalu and Puerto Princesa was terminated due to one way traffic passenger loads. During the period two leased YS11 aircraft from Aboitiz Transport joined the fleet The company opened direct links with Sandakan, Sabah and revenue flights were likewise operated serving Jolo and Tawi Tawi. The company became member of the BIMP EAGA TOURISM COUNCIL.
2005 – A commercial agreement with Astro Air International was forged to meet the airline operational capability. Passenger feed agreements was forged with Cebu Pacific to allow for better connectivity. The airline introduced its automated reservations system in a bid to improve its distribution system both domestically and worldwide. The company made negotiations for two additional YS 11s for purchase from Nihon Air Services in Japan. The new YS 11s are to replace the current leased equipments from Aboitiz Company. During the period Zamboanga - Kota Kinabalu flights were started with twice weekly frequency.
2006 to 2008 – Opening of the Cebu hub. The new YS 11s were placed on the route by the end of the 3rd quarter of 2006. The opening of the Cebu hub is in line with current expansions to cover more routes linking both Mindanao and the Visayas region, the strategy is to boost the BIMP EAGA services and to capitalize on the increasing tourism boost in the country which created substantial seat demands in many areas. To improve the network services, a new hub in Cagayan de Oro will be operational before the end of the year 2009. New routes linking the country to Manado, Indonesia and Brunei will also be opened before the end of the said year to increase regional services.
